Fill Dirt Delivery

About Our Fill Dirt

Our fill dirt is what gets screened out of out topsoil. There is definatly rock in the fill dirt but generally its not as common as its mainly a lot of dirt clods. This is great for filling in big holes and slopes that just need cheap meaterial. You may have a couple pieces of garbage but that is generally down to a minimum.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Fill Dirt?

When we screen our topsoil, the material that gets screened out is our fill dirt. Because we are screening old farm land, even the fill dirt is solid stuff. Has dirt clods and rocks.

Why Do I Need Fill Dirt?

Fill dirt is used to bring grades up over 6 inches generally. We highly recommend using a machine for fill dirt. Shoveling this stuff is an absolute pain.

Can You Dump Over A Fence?

The short answer is yes, but in most cases it is not ideal. We have what are called slinger trucks. These have a conveyor belt that can shoot material over fences. This includes top soil, fill dirt, sand and more. Everything except sod. While this is great, prices generally double due to the truck and man power being much higher. In most cases, it is most cost-effective to get a normal dump truck and use a skid steer (aka a bobcat) to bring the material to where you need it.

For regular dump trucks, the clearance when dumping is very low and there is no way to dump over a fence.

Can I Pickup?

We are a delivery only company, if you are looking to pickup, there are other companies that are better suited for that. Fill Dirt is surprisingly heavy and unless you have a big truck, generally it is recommended to have your material delivered. Repair bills are way higher that delivery fees.
